WARP portable is a mobile terahertz based hand-held system specifically designed for medium and large-sized extruded plastic pipes. Due to the independent of temperatures measuring technology it is capable of indicating unwanted changes of wall thickness infront of the calibration sleeve. This helps to save high costs for wasted material particularly after changes of the diameter specifications during the extrusion process.
The positioning aid comes with 4 contact points always keeping the device orthogonally to the pipe's center. The device can be positioned vertically on the pipe or sideways.
A circular LED indicates correctly executed measurements.
Two different positioning aids can be alternatively attached to the front part for correct measurements of a big range of pipes' sizes.
