The detector combines the light section method for detecting height profiles with a 2-D vision sensor, which establishes a new technology for high-precision monitoring during the production process.
The significantly highlighted green part rotates around 180°, which allows flexible adaption to different set-ups.
The sloping finning on the side surfaces serves both - it is design feature, inspired by light and cuts - as well as heat reduction through surface enlargement. The cushion shaped geometry in the rim area allows airflow even if mounted at a plate with full side contact. The pictures shown represent a close to series status after design concept phase.
