First thing we received from Maquet Getinge after being comissioned to design the housing for the new VENTA SP 16 was a roughly arranged bunch of all relevant technical componentes. We began with an analysis of the assembly, its usability, its layout and potential for improvement.
In an intensive process of research, discussion, idea development and sketches, new features were created such as the beveled desk for better operation and readability as well as the innovative adjustment ring surrounding the pressure gauge, with a finger recess enabling direct adjustment of the setpoint based on the scale.
I did not expect such overwhelmingly positive feedback from our customers about the new operating features and design of the Venta.
In cooperation with our engineering and product development partner H&H, we delivered the complete process chain from the idea (innovative control ring), the housing design and construction to tooling and series production.
