Design of a Food-Slicer in metal-finish with parts of aluminium and coated plastic housing. Basic design idea is to contrast the softly fluent curves of the main housing with sharply defined edges and outlines.
Comparing first sketches with the finished product demonstrate how subtle and straight the design could be developed and realized.
A product’s long presence at the market proofs design-quality and enduring appeal for the customers. After our Food Slicer MS 65 (product shown above) ist already in the shelves since 9 years (!) we are particularly happy about the first food slicer design we did for Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte, launched in 2003. 12 years of market presence is an award by itself. The MS 4200 - a foldable entry-level food slicer - still is prominently exposed at Saturn and Media-Markt.
